My Background

Who is Jess?

Jess was born and has grown up in St Helens. Jess has always had a passion for the Performing Arts, attending stage schools such as the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) and The Stage Coach, performing on local theatres in St Helens and Liverpool since she was just 2 years old.

Jess has a BA Honours degree (Level 6) in Early Years Education, graduating from Edge Hill University. Jess has had all the relevant DBS and Safeguarding checks and has also had in depth Safeguarding training and training at degree level to how children learn and develop from birth to 11 years old.

Jess is currently working as the Children and Families Leader at a local church in St Helens. She has been employed by the Liverpool Diocese for 4 years. Her role includes delivering lessons to small and large groups of children both at church and the local feeder primary school, leading a toddler group, delivering assemblies, mentoring volunteers & students etc.

In Jess' spare time she loves to dance and has been trained in ballet, tap, contemporary and musical theatre since being a little girl. Jess also loves spending time with her friends and family and of course watching Disney films!
